Technology
Advanced Composite Technology
Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in Giant's own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and moulded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Maestro Suspension Technology
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
E+ System
E+ System combines electric power with human power to produce a smart, natural and powerful E-Bike riding experience. It's an integrated group of technologies that includes Giant's RideControl control units, EnergyPak battery systems and SyncDrive motors. For more information, check out the link below.
Aegis E-Lock
The E-Lock disables motor support and digitally locks the bike via app, remote, or PIN. If moved without authorization, an audible alarm sounds instantly, ensuring peace of mind and real protection every time you stop.
Find My Bike
Enhanced security and anti-theft feature using Apple Find My function lets you set up separation alerts, locate your E-Bike remotely, and receive notifications if its location changes. Apple Find My privacy protections ensure that your location information is encrypted on Apple servers and retained for only 24 hours.
Aegis Tyre Checker
The Aegis Tyre Checker lets you track your desired front and rear tyre pressures, clearly displaying live updates and instantly alerting you if they reach your set limits or drop rapidly.
RideControl Go Lux
Beautifully integrated into your top tube, RideControl Go Lux offers a vibrant colour screen clearly showing key ride data and range-so you're always informed, inspired, and primed to shred.
SyncDrive Pro 4
The new 48V SyncDrive Pro 4 is a torque-based, zero-cadence motor. Rider input converts to forward momentum instantly: a 0.28-second response time paired with a 1:5 support ratio for up to 500% assistance. At just 2.4kg, it punches out 120Nm of torque and 850W of peak power across the full cadence range, making it one of the most torque-dense and responsive motors available.
RideControl Ergo 5
The RideControl Ergo 5 is a single remote that controls key functions including a dropper seatpost and electronic shifting with fully customisable buttons and the ability to add one on each side of the handlebar for enhanced control.
EnergyPak
Giant's latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-Bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-Bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimise the E-Bike experience for a specific style of riding.
EnergyPak Plus 280
This range extender can boost total capacity by 280Wh. This gives you the choice-lighter weight for everyday rides or longer range for epic ride days.
Features
Advanced Control
Raw power matters, but it's the smooth balance of torque and control that truly shapes your ride. While most E-MTBs must compromise their suspension designs around off-the-shelf motors, Giant engineered the SyncDrive Pro 4 motor and Maestro suspension together using a custom motor housing to accommodate Maestro's proven dual-link suspension kinematics. The Synchronised Power Matrix senses the ride and adjusts the support to your tuning. When steep climbs turn loose, Traction Control detects rear wheel slip and refines the assist, so power finds grip and you stay in control. A mixed-wheel setup-29-inch front for smooth roll-over, 27.5-inch rear for added agility-and 3-Position flip-chip geometry let you dial in handling to your riding style and terrain.
Always-on Power
The new 48V SyncDrive Pro 4 motor delivers lightning-fast response (0.28 seconds) and 120Nm of torque from the first crank of your pedals, starting at 0 rpm. It's designed to read force, not rotation. Best of all, it doesn't taper at speed, delivering 850W of peak power across the full cadence range. Weighing just 21.9kg with a new 840Wh battery, the new Trance Advanced E+ 0 handles like a lighter bike and holds power where others fade.
Full-Power Confidence
More power and torque lead to more stress on everything. The new Trance Advanced E+ is built to handle the forces of full-power E-MTB riding with engineered durability across the board. The new TRX and TRA HD Wheel Systems feature high-torque titanium ratchet hubs that are 20% stronger than the previous generation and 25% stronger in fatigue testing than leading competitors. A new high-torque KMC chain delivers 35% stronger pin strength versus leading benchmark 12-Speed chains. The EnergyPak 840 battery has a 2300-cycle lifespan. And it's all backed by Giant's global retailer and service network.
